ICYMI: Rep. Paul Gosar's Statement on the Yarnell Hill Fire and Memorial Service

House Natural Resources Committee member Rep. Paul  Gosar, (AZ-04) issued the following statement in response to the fast-moving Yarnell Hill Fire, in Yavapai County, that has claimed lives and destroyed homes and lead to one of the most deadly days in U.S. Firefighting history:

“My heart weeps for those who lost their lives and were affected by today’s Yarnell Hill Fire. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families who have lost so much and the first responders battling this difficult situation. I urge others to join me in keeping those affected by this tragic fire in our thoughts and prayers. My office and I will continue to closely monitor the situation and remain in communication with emergency responders. Please do not hesitate to contact my office if we can be of assistance.”  

Congressman Gosar will also be holding a memorial service for victims of the Yarnell fire. 

Congressman Paul Gosar, D.D.S (AZ-04) announced he will hold a memorial service for Yarnell Fire victims today, July 1st, 2013, in Prescott.

The service will take place Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Activity Center, Building 83 on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. The service starts at 4:00 p.m. and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Donations will be collected for victims of the Yarnell Fire.
