House Committee on Natural Resources Chairman Rob Bishop (R-Utah) issued the following statement praising President Trump for signing HR. 4300, the Admiral Lloyd R. ‘Joe’ Vasey Pacific War Commemorative Display Establishment Act, into law. Introduced by Chairman Bishop and Subcommittee on Federal Lands Ranking Member Colleen Hanabusa (D-Hawaii), the bipartisan legislation establishes a memorial at Pearl Harbor to honor the U.S. service members who served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. “This bipartisan legislation honors America’s World War II veterans of the Pacific Theatre. I thank Rep. Hanabusa for her commitment to this important issue and President Trump for signing this legislation into law." ### |
