Background:

The House Subcommittee on Water and Power will hold a budget oversight hearing on the President’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget requests and other spending as it relates to the Bureau of Reclamation, the four Power Marketing Administrations and the U.S. Geological Survey’s Water Program. This hearing will consist of one panel of federal agency officials and will focus on agency priorities and accountability, appropriate use of taxpayer and ratepayer spending, as well as the future missions of these agencies.
