Washington - Today, the House Committee on Natural Resources held a markup that included five Republican bills that passed with bipartisan support. Committee Ranking Member Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.) issued the following statement:
"While it is unfortunate that this committee is still not meeting in-person, today we were able to pass productive Republican legislation that doesn't add fuel to the flames of President Biden's energy, supply chain, and numerous other crises. We are instead establishing a network of existing historical sites, reauthorizing important taskforces, supporting roads and schools in forest counties, and more. I look forward to seeing these bills pass the House."

H.R. 1546, offered by U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.), reauthorizes and revises the Presidential Task Force on Wildfire Trafficking.
