This bill seeks to build consensus around a new Eisenhower Memorial by implementing a new design competition and providing a three year extension of the memorial site designation, which is set to expire this year.

Bishop #1 – Memorial Commission Appointment (Agreed to by Voice Vote)
This amendment changes representation of members on the memorial commission and makes each appointment subject to the Eisenhower foundation to make a more open and fair commission.
