On Wednesday, May 11th the House Natural Resources Committee will hold a Full Committee oversight hearing on “American Energy Initiative: Identifying Roadblocks to Wind and Solar Energy on Public Lands and Waters.”
“House Republicans’ American Energy Initiative is an effort to increase all types of American energy production – including renewable energy,” said Chairman Doc Hastings. “Wind and solar energy is an integral part of an all-of-the-above energy approach, but unfortunately production on public lands often faces significant obstacles. This hearing will examine policies and actions, such as permitting delays, that have blocked or delayed development of renewable energy sources on our federal lands and waters.”
Visit the Committee Hearings webpage for testimony and additional information, once it is made available. The hearing is open to the public and a live video stream will be broadcast at /live. ### |
