The House Committee on Natural Resources considers legislation about American energy production, mineral lands and mining, fisheries and wildlife, public lands, oceans, Native Americans, irrigation and reclamation. Many of our members represent districts in the West, but the issues considered by the committee impact every American. Under the House Republican majority, the committee has advanced legislation that unlocks access to our rich natural resources, spurs innovation in the private sector, promotes conservation, supports rural economies, and holds the Biden administration accountable.
