Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands: NPFPL Legislative Hearing

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., in Room 1324 Longworth House Office Building, the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands (NPFPL) will hold a legislative hearing on the following bills:

  • H.R. 823 (Rep. Joe Neguse), To provide for the designation of certain wilderness areas, recreation management areas, and conservation areas in the State of Colorado, and for other purposes. “Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy Act” (map here)
  • H.R. 1708 (Rep. Adam Schiff), To adjust the boundary of the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area to include the Rim of the Valley Corridor, and for other purposes. “Rim of the Valley Corridor Preservation Act” (map here)
  • H.R. 434 (Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee), To designate the Emancipation National Historic Trail, and for other purposes. “Emancipation National Historic Trail Act”
  • H.R. 306 (Rep. Jody Hice), To direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study of the site of the Kettle Creek Battlefield in Wilkes County, Georgia, and adjacent property, and for other purposes. “Kettle Creek Battlefield Park Study Act”
