OVERSIGHT HEARING ON:

  • H.R. 4588 (John Doolittle), to reauthorize grants for and require applied water supply research regarding the water resources research and technology institutes established under the Water Resources Research Act of 1984;
  • H.R. 5079 (Greg Walden), to provide for the modification of an amendatory repayment contract between the Secretary of the Interior and the North Unit Irrigation District, and for other purposes; and 
  • S. 214 (Jeff Bingaman)/H.R. 469 (Jim Kolbe), to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to cooperate with the States on the border with Mexico and other appropriate entities in conducting a hydrogeologic characterization, mapping, and modeling program for priority transboundary aquifers, and for other purposes.
