Requesting the President to issue a proclamation in observance of the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the International Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies; was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by unanimous consent.
H.R. 3476 (Mr. Issa) To protect certain lands held in fee by the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Mission Indians from condemnation until a final decision is made by the Secretary of the Interior regarding a pending fee to trust application for that land, and for other purposes; was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by voice vote.
H.R. 3917 (Mr. Murtha) To authorize a national memorial to commemorate the passengers and crew of Flight 93 who, on September 11, 2001, courageously gave their lives thereby thwarting a planned attack on our Nation's Capital, and for other purposes.  “Flight 93 National Memorial Act” (Subject to discharge from the Subcommittee on National Parks, Recreation and Public Lands.); was ordered favorably reported to the House, amended, by unanimous consent.
H.R. 4620 (Mr. Otter) To accelerate the wilderness designation process by establishing a timetable for the completion of wilderness studies on Federal lands, and for other purposes.  “America's Wilderness Protection Act”   (Subject to discharge from the Subcommittee on National Parks, Recreation and Public Lands and the Subcommittee on Forests and Forest Health.); was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by voice vote.
H.R. 4739 (Mr. Doggett)   To amend the Reclamation Wastewater and Groundwater Study and Facilities Act to authorize the Secretary of the  Interior to participate in the design, planning, and construction of a project to reclaim and reuse wastewater within and outside of  the service area of the City of Austin Water and Wastewater Utility, Texas.  (Subject to discharge from the Subcommittee on Water and Power.); was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by unanimous consent.
H.R. 4749 (Mr. Gilchrest) To reauthorize the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, and for other purposes.  “Magnuson-Stevens Act Amendments of 2002”; was ordered favorably reported to the House, amended, by vote of 23-17.
H.R. 4822 (Mr. Rehberg) To clarify that the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument does not include within its boundaries any privately owned property, and for other purposes.  “Upper Missouri River Breaks Boundary Clarification Act”   (Subject to discharge from the Subcommittee on National Parks, Recreation and Public Lands.); was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by voice vote.
H.R. 4840 (Mr. Hansen) To amend the Endangered Species Act of 1973 to ensure the use of sound science in the implementation of that Act.  “Sound Science for Endangered Species Act Planning Act of 2002”; was ordered favorably reported to the House, amended, by vote of 22-18.
S. 238 (Mr. Wyden) A bill to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to conduct feasibility studies on water optimization in the Burnt River  basin, Malheur River basin, Owyhee River basin, and Powder River Basin, Oregon.  Burnt, Malheur, Owyhee, and Powder River Basin Water Optimization Feasibility Study Act of 2001 (Subject to discharge from the Subcommittee on Water and Power.); was ordered favorably reported to the House, without amendment, by unanimous consent.
