The Committee on Natural Resources met in an open markup session on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, and considered the following bills:

H.R. 4003 (Hinchey), To direct the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study to evaluate resources in the Hudson River Valley in the State of New York to determine the suitability and feasibility of establishing the site as a unit of the National Park System, and for other purposes. "Hudson River Valley Special Resource Study Act"

The Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands was discharged from further consideration of H.R. 4003.

An amendment in the nature of a substitute was offered by Mr. Hinchey.
