Bishop Announces Majority Subcommittee Chairman, Republican Assignments for 115th Congress


WASHINGTON, D.C., January 31, 2017 -

Today, House Committee on Natural Resources Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) announced subcommittee chairmen and assignments for the 115th Congress. Chairman Bishop issued the following statement:

“This Congress presents a rare opportunity to advance new and better policies for taxpayers. We’ve spent the time to identify the right team of leaders to build upon prior successes and advance creative ideas in this new environment to benefit people. From empowering states, tribes and local communities to enhancing land, water, energy and resource management, and in partnership with new executive leadership, I am proud to make these announcements and eager to tackle the important work before the committee.”
