Chairman Hastings Welcomes Rep. Smith to the Committee on Natural Resources


WASHINGTON, D.C., June 12, 2013 - House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Doc Hastings (WA-04) released the following statement on newly-elected Representative Jason Smith (MO-08) joining the Natural Resources Committee:

“I’m pleased to welcome the newest Member of Congress, Rep. Jason Smith, to the Committee on Natural Resources.  Having grown up on a family farm, Jason understands the importance of responsibly harvesting our natural resources and how crucial it is for jobs and economic growth.
