Cutting Federal Red Tape to Facilitate Renewable Energy Act (H.R. 2170)

This bill would accelerate the development of clean, renewable energy projects on Federal lands and waters to create jobs and protect the environment.

Hastings Amendment – Technical Amendment (Agreed to by Voice Vote.)

Holt Amendment #002 – (Failed 14-21. View Roll Call Vote)
This amendment would require the Secretary of the Interior to certify whether the project will increase the production of energy on public lands using renewable energies.

Garamendi Amendment #054; Futher Amended by Tipton Amendment – Made in America (Agreed to by Voice Vote.)
This amendment would encourage all equipment and materials for the project to be manufactured in the United States.
