The bill would establish the Castle Nugent Historic Site on St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. The park would include 2,900 acres and extend out into the ocean to the 3 mile territorial limit. The National Park Service estimates that it will cost up to $50 million to acquire the privately-owned land for this park and nearly $1 million a year to operate.
