Reporting H.R. 4381 Out of Committee (Passed 24-14. View Roll Call Vote)
This bill establishes common sense steps to create an all-of-the-above American energy plan for using federal lands to meet our Nation’s energy needs.

Tipton Amendment #1 – Leasing Availability (Agreed to by Voice Vote.)
This amendment directs the Secretary to consider leasing Federal lands available “at the time the lease sale occurs” as opposed to “under current law”

Grijalva Amendment #001 – Duplicative Multiple Use (Failed 16-22. View Roll Call Vote)
This amendment was duplicative in nature as it stated that nothing in this act should affect the multiple use aspect of public lands, which the underlying legislation already does not affect.

Holt Amendment #002 – Removing Leases (Failed 14-24. View Roll Call Vote)
This amendment undermines the purpose of the legislation by arbitrarily removing areas for energy development.

Markey Amendment #003 – Inclusion of Speculation Language (Failed 14-24. View Roll Call Vote)
This amendment adds redundant language that is unnecessary to achieve the goals of the underlying legislation.
