This bill would speed the production of clean, renewable American energy by streamlining the process to develop onshore wind power on Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service lands.

Holt Amendment #001 – Consultation with FAA Not Affected (Failed 15-27. View Roll Call Vote)
This amendment would require the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to consult with the Federal Aviation Administration with respect to a meteorological testing site and monitoring project through the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process.

Noem Amendment – Introduce Public Comment Period and Consultation (Agreed to by Voice Vote.)
This amendment would require the Chief of the Forest Service to provide an opportunity for submission of comments by the public, as well as consult with the heads of other Federal, State, and local agencies that would be affected by the issuance of the permit.
